On Board Fabrics


Located in Edgecomb, Maine, on Rte. 27.  Visiting On Board Fabrics is a treat!  Their collection includes many colorful cottons that are heavy enough for slipcovers.  The website includes some of their fabrics, though I would definitely recommend a visit.

Mainely Sewing


Located in Nobleboro, Maine on Rte. 1.  The fabrics here are primarily for quilting.  Though not useful for slipcovers, they would be great for colorful accent pillows.  See the website:

Barrow Industries offers mostly conventional upholstery-weight fabrics,  but some are suitable for slipcovers. Actual samples are available at Natural Slipcovers.
